From the South - Bicester Town Centre

Take the A4421 (Buckingham Road) North East out of town.  Go straight on at the mini roundabouts, past Bicester North railway station (under the bridge)past a speed camera until you get to the first big roundabout on the Bicester Ring Road.  Take the third exit onto Skimmingdish Lane; Bicester Heritage South Gate entrance is on your left after approximately 150 yards.

From the East - A41 from Aylesbury

At the first roundabout, take the A4421 (Bicester Ring Road) towards Buckingham.  Go straight ahead at the next 2 roundabouts.  At the third roundabout, turn left.  At the next roundabout, turn right onto Skimmingdish Lane (still on the A4421) signposted to Buckingham follow this road until you see the Airfield and the South Gate entrance on your right.

From the North East - A4421 from Buckingham, Milton Keynes and Northampton

Follow the A4421 South West towards Bicester, driving past the airfield and the main Bicester Heritage entrance on your left.  At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Skimmingdish Lane; Bicester Motion South Gate entrance is on your left after approximately 150 yards.

Bicester Motion - On Site Instructions

Once you have entered the Bicester Motion site through the South Gate, drive forwards and park in the marked slots in front of the firrst hangar on your left, where the Finest Hour team will be expecting you.

Cotswold Airport

Please note that our operations from Cotswold Airport cease on 6 July 2024.  We suggest you call us to book a slot before commiting to buy a voucher to fly from this location. 

Finest Hour operates from the area of the Control Tower and AV8 restaurant.  The airport is signposted from the A433, which runs between Cirencester and Tetbury.  To the right of the security gate is a keypad, which will open the gate on use of the correct 4 digit code.  Please call us on the Day of your flight to receive the up-to-date code.  Car parking is on the grass behind the Control Tower; at present the AV8 restaurant is closed, so we suggest all visitors bring their own refreshments.
