Start your Inspector Morse flying lesson experience by being introduced to the de Havilland Tiger Moth aeroplane’s controls on the way to Didcot Railway Centre, which featured in ‘The Wolvercote Tongue’. Turning North, your instructor will teach you how to fly the aeroplane in a straight line towards Oxford, whose spires are the scene of many a Morse story. With Oxford on your right, you’ll pass over the Inspector’s favourite watering hole, The Trout at Wolvercote before viewing Blenheim Palace, whose grounds featured in ‘The Way through the Woods’. Fly yourself back to ‘the station’ or ask your instructor to show you some gentle biplane aerobatics before you land - the choice is yours.
Flight duration: 45 minutes
Minimum age 14 years. Maximum weight 18 stone. Participants should be between 4’11’’ & 6’7’’ and be agile enough to get in and out of the aircraft. For full terms please click here.
